Welcome to the IG-Alpbach Senza Confini
The Initiative Group Alpbach Senza Confini (IGASC) grants scholarships for the annual European Forum Alpbach each year since 2003. The declared goal of our scholarship-programme is to offer an opportunity to interested and talented Carinthian, Italian and Slovenian students and young academics to participate in one of the best known and established scientific forums in Europe.
The European Forum Alpbach, attracting over 3000 participants each year, offers two weeks of interdisciplinary seminars, exciting discussions, round tables and get-togethers with famous experts and policy makers regarding science, culture, economy, politics and society. All events take place either in English or German.
This year´s Forum will take place from August 16th until September 1st and will deal with the dynamic topic of “Expectations – The future of the young”. A preliminary programme can be found at www.alpbach.org. The Forum is taking place for the 68th time and the Initiative Group Alpbach Senza Confini is already participating and organising a scholarship program for the 10th time.
